Newcastle United's would-be owners 'approach' ex-PSG sporting director over top job
Antero Henrique has been sounded out about the job of sporting director at Newcastle United, according to a report.
RMC Sport claim that the former Paris Saint-Germain sporting director has been approached by the club’s would-be owners.
Henrique, 52, is said to be “interested” in the proposed position.
Financier Amanda Staveley, backed by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, has agreed a £300million deal for the club.
The proposed takeover has been with the Premier League for approval since early April.
