Newcastle United were swept aside by Manchester City after falling to a 5-0 defeat at the Etihad Stadium.
Gabriel Jesus and Riyad Mahrez handed Pep Guardiola’s side a 2-0 advantage at the break before a Federico Fernandez own goal, David Silva’s free-kick and Raheem Sterling inflicted a heavy defeat on Steve Bruce’s men.
