Steve Bruce was seen leaving the Old Trafford playing surface laughing and smiling with opposite number Ole Gunnar Solskjaer – and Newcastle United fans did not like what they witnessed.
Here’s how they reacted on Twitter...
@nordicgeordie – “Pretty sure Rafa Benitez wouldn't be walking off the pitch with a fat smile on his face, making jokes with the opposition manager, after a second half like that. #levels #nufc #differenceinclass.”
@PaulThorne4 – “#NUFC Now 1 position above the relegation zone and our manager seems amused.”
@RBanerjee23 – “25 points from 25 games, fourth-bottom and just lost 3-1. How is he smiling and joking? He is an awful manager and taking us down. And yet he faces no consequences for doing so. It's stomach-turning.”
@stevewraith – “The smile says it all #BruceOut #nufc
@Magpie24_7 – “This. This sums it all up! Joke of a manager. Thinks this is funny does he? Relegating the club he apparently supports.”
