Newcastle United followed up their Man City draw with a tactically perfect victory at Sheffield United – but how did the players perform?

Allan Saint-Maximin netted his first goal since arriving in the summer, then controversy kicked in with VAR, quite correctly, ruling Andy Carroll was on-side before flicking on for Jonjo Shelvey to seal at 2-0 win in South Yorkshire.
