Premier League make official transfer announcement impacting Newcastle United, Everton, Aston Villa & co

The Premier League have revealed when the 2024 summer and 2025 winter transfer windows will open and close. After a very quiet January transfer window this year, the upcoming summer window is expected to be a much busier one with clubs up and down the divisions in England - and teams across Europe - expected to be very active in the market.

The Premier League have revealed that the summer transfer window will open on Friday 14 June and close on Friday August 30, meaning the window will be open for 11 weeks in order for clubs to complete their transfer business. The winter window, meanwhile, will open on January 1, 2025 and close on February 3, 2025.

The EFL, Spanish, French, German and Italian summer and winter transfer windows are also open at that time to make it easier for clubs around Europe to negotiate and complete transfers at the same time.
