With the Premier League season set to start this weekned, over £1.1billion has been spent in transfer fees by Premier League clubs so far this summer.
Newcastle United have spent in the region of £60million on Matt Targett from Aston Villa, Nick Pope from Burnley and Sven Botman from Lille.
But Eddie Howe’s side have gone a month without another senior signing as they look to strengthen before the transfer window slams shut at the start of September.
Some clubs are yet to spend a penny this transfer window whilst two have already paid in excess of £100million on new players - according to data from transfermarkt.co.uk.
13. Liverpool - £77.22m

14. West Ham United - £81.86m
West Ham fought of late interest from Newcastle United to secure the signing of Moroccan defender Nayef Aguerd for £31.5million. They also signed Alphonse Areola from Paris Saint-Germain following a loan spell last season. The Hammers’ biggest signing so far is Gianluca Scamacca from Sassuolo for £32.4million.
15. Nottingham Forest - £85.28m

16. Tottenham Hotspur - £91.71m
Spurs have signed Yves Bissouma from Brighton for £26.28million, Richarlison from Everton for £52.20million and Djed Spence from Middlesbrough for £13.23million. They have also secured the free signings of Fraser Forster and Ivan Perisic. | Getty Images
