Redemption, reemergence & a point rescuing cracker  – Liam Kennedy's Newcastle United player ratings

It was a case of redemption for some and a reemergence for others as Newcastle United broke free of their Villa Park shackles to secure a late point against Premier League champions Manchester City.

Jonjo Shelvey’s late equaliser came as a welcome surprise for Steve Bruce’s Magpies, who had fallen behind to a Kevin De Bruyne belter.
