Meanwhile, Crystal Palace’s Cheikhou Kouyate has told his team to “forget” about last night’s defeat to Tottenham Hotspur ahead of their visit to St James’s Park on Saturday.

“I’m disappointed about losing, because it was possible to take some points, but we lost this game,” said the midfielder.

“We lost this game and that’s very, very difficult for the team. We need to forget this game, and focus on Saturday’s game.”
