Newcastle United fans have reacted to a significant takeover update

For while significant documents have shown that takeover talks between Mike Ashley and Amanda Staveley are advancing, some supporters are refusing to get carried away.

@JJFletcher7 said: “Personally couldn’t care less how the deal is being done, if SJ Holdings lend Staveley the money to be paid back at a later date, and this gets Ashley out of the club.”
