Carroll comes in for dropped Joelinton, who has been out of form and out of sorts for United this season.

And while some of you out there are excited about the prospect of AC7 up top – others are not so happy.

@Dave83C – “Carroll gets paid for Christmas then.”

@markdobson – “Proper hoofball incoming.”

@Nathaniel_D97 – “Inject that straight into my veins!”

@jwclay98 – “Carroll hattrick incoming.”
