Bruce will be without Allan Saint-Maximin for tomorrow’s game against Burnley after the winger suffered a hamstring injury late in last weekend’s 2-1 win over Southampton at St James’s Park.
And United’s head coach is considering switching striker Joelinton to the left – and recalling Andy Carroll to his starting XI.
“It's something we're toying with,” said Bruce, who could also be witout Jonjo Shelvey (calf) and Miguel Almiron (hamstring). “He's played half his career there at his previous club (Hoffenheim), so he's no stranger to it, so it may be.

“It's something we've got up our sleeve if we need it, and it's something we're toying with, and it might just give big Joe a lift as well, because sometimes a change of scenery or a change of formation or a change of position can stimulate you a little bit.

United are 11th in the Premier League table with 22 points.
