
Winger Saint-Maximin picked up an ankle injury in last weekend’s 3-0 home defeat to Brighton and Hove Albion, while left-back Jamal Lewis suffered an eye injury, and they are being assessed ahead of Newcastle United's visit to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
“They’re the biggest doubts,” said head coach Bruce, whose side beat Morecambe 7-0 in a third-round Carabao Cup tie in midweek. "Lewis has got an awful eye injury. It’s a bad cut, so we’re going to see how he is. Allan has a slightly twisted ankle, so we’ll see how he is too.
