Steve Bruce gives Valentino Lazaro update after agent meeting at Newcastle United

The agent of Inter Milan winger Valentino Lazaro was at St James’s Park for the weekend’s 1-0 win over Chelsea.

Head coach Bruce said: “It’s fairly common knowledge his agent was at St James’s Park.

“We hope we can develop it. We’ll see what the next 24 or 48 hours bring.”

Bruce added that the club would also look to sign a left-back after Jetro Willems and Paul Dummett suffered season-ending injuries.
