The two clubs played out a goalless fourth-round tie at St James’s Park late last month. Head coach Bruce said: “I have seen them a few times. I understand they’re a good side. They’ve lost two of their good players (Shandon Baptiste and Tariqe Fosu), but they have good players.”

NEWCASTLE UNITED: Darlow, Yedlin, Schar, Lascelles, Lejeune, Ritchie, Bentaleb, M Longstaff, S Longstaff, Almiron, Joelinton. Subs: Elliot, Clark, Saint-Maximin, Hayden, Fernandez, Atsu, Allan.
