Joelinton – who has scored three Premier League goals this season – replaces injured striker Callum Wilson in Newcastle United’s starting XI for the club’s penultimate home game. Wilson hurt his hamstring in last week’s 4-2 win over Leicester City. Otherwise, United head coach Steve Bruce has named an unchanged starting XI for the game against the new Premier League champions.

Bruce won the Premier League’s Manager of the Month award for April ahead of the fixture. Bruce said: “For me, to win is a reflection on the players and my staff. They work tirelessly, and, without them, there's no award to win. I'm delighted, and I want to thank them sincerely."
