Steve Bruce reacts to Javier Manquillo's performance for Newcastle United
Steve Bruce says Javier Manquillo’s getting his rewards at Newcastle United – from hard “graft”.
Manquillo, 25, was outstanding in yesterday’s 1-0 win over Crystal Palace at St James’s Park.
The right-back, signed from Atletico Madrid two years ago, has been keeping DeAndre Yedlin on the bench.
“Yedlin has been fit, but from graft he has his reward,” said head coach Bruce. “He is performing fantastic. Terrific, and well done him.”
