Premier League duo Newcastle United and Wolves are both said to be interested in appointing Gennaro Gattuso as their manager.

The former AC Milan legend is the current boss of Napoli.

A report in Calcio Mercato states the Magpies have expressed their will in having the manager ‘in the past few hours’.

Wolves and Newcastle United are both said to be ‘ready to change managers’.

Gattuso’s contract with Napoli expires at the end of the season.

Indeed, the Italian manager is already expected to leave the club for a new job in the summer.

Former Magpies striker a target for Champions League finalists Chelsea

Former Newcastle United striker Ivan Toney is a target for Chelsea, according to reports.

The London club reached the Champions League final on Wednesday night, defeating Real Madrid over two legs.

Thomas Tuchel’s side are also in the FA Cup final this campaign,

The Sun reports that West Ham are keen, while the Blues are also keeping tabs on him.

Brentford reportedly want £35million for the striker who left Newcastle United in 2018 for just £650,000.

Toney joined Brentford from Peterborough United last summer and is currently the Championship’s top scorer with 30 goals.
