Substitute Florian Lejeune scored two injury-time goals as Steve Bruce’s side came from two goals down to draw 2-2 against Everton last night.
Ancelotti, Everton’s manager, spoke to Bruce at the final whistle – and reminded him that he was AC Milan manager in 2005 when Liverpool came from three goals down in that year’s Champions League final.

Hide AdAsked what he said to Ancelotti, United head coach Bruce said: “I didn’t apologise! He shrugged his shoulders. As he said to me, he was 3-0 up in a European Cup final. He’s just reminded me. It’s football. It can happen.”
Ancelotti said: “I think there are things in football that are unpredictable. We played really well and deserved to win but have to accept the result.
