Fast-food chain Kentucky Fried Chicken have directed a jibe at Newcastle United’s rivals Sunderland.
The outlet started an ‘If Premier League teams were KFC menu items’ thread on Twitter, including a post on Sunderland.
In a rather cheeky post, KFC labelled the Back Cats as one of their ‘Double Down’ burgers in reference the clubs double relegation from the Premier League to League One.
KFC’s rationale? The now special limited-edition burger has ‘not actually been around for a while and probably never coming back.’
