Eddie Howe has welcomed two additions to his squad so far this window and the club are targeting at least another four deals before the window slams shut.
However, any new player that is signed will have to be registered and because of their full 25-man squad, players will have to leave the club or face being unregistered for the rest of the campaign.
This means that whilst supporters will be keen to see who joins up on Tyneside before Monday, there will likely be departures from the club in order to balance the squad.

Newcastle United have reportedly agreed a £30m fee for the Brazilian midfielder who is due to undergo a medical in Brazil ahead of a proposed move to Tyneside. With Arsenal and Juventus heavily-linked, this could be seen as a massive coup for the club. (Photo by MICHAL CIZEK/AFP via Getty Images)

6. OUT - Elliot Anderson
Despite being a regular and visible member of first-team training, Anderson has not travelled with the squad to Saudi Arabia. Luton Town have shown the most interest in the midfielder and a loan move in order to secure him regular first-team football could be in Anderson’s best interests.

7. IN - Duvan Zapata
Newcastle have reportedly offered to take Zapata on loan for the remainder of the season with an obligation to buy the Colombian should they beat the drop this season. He’s been in tremendous form in Serie A this campaign meaning Atalanta will likely be very reluctant to see him depart, however.

8. OUT - Jeff Hendrick
Middlesbrough have reportedly shown interest in bringing the Republic of Ireland international to the Riverside this month. His move from Burnley has not panned out as hoped and Hendrick has struggled for game time this season.
