The 2024 summer transfer window has opened and Newcastle United have already been busy with the signings of four players. Lloyd Kelly joined on a free transfer from Bournemouth, whilst Lewis Hall’s loan move to St James’ Park has been turned into a permanent transfer.
A hectic few days also saw Yankuba Minteh and Elliot Anderson leave for Brighton and Nottingham Forest respectively. Eddie Howe’s squad was quickly reinforced with the additions of John Ruddy and Odysseas Vlachodimos to bolster their goalkeeping department.
The summer transfer window will be open until Friday 30 August and it is expected that the Magpies, along with their Premier League rivals, will be busy in the market throughout the summer as they look to strengthen the options available to Howe ahead of the new season.
