Max Hagmayr, Lazaro’s agent, has been speaking about the winger’s future following a half-season loan at St James’s Park.
The 24-year-old played just 473 minutes of Premier League football after joining on loan from Inter Milan.
Speaking to the Austrian media about interest from an unnamed Champions League club, Hagmayr said: “With a club, we’re already very far. I would like to discuss all of this with Valentino after his vacation. There are interested parties. I’m talking to some clubs, but there’s no decision at this stage. With a club, as I said, one is very far.”
