Victor Fernandez takes to social media to reveal philosophy at Newcastle United

Fernandez has overcome a series of injury problems since breaking through into Rafa Benitez’s first-team squad last year.

The winger is now looking to catch the eye of Steve Bruce, Benitez’s successor.

Fernandez came off the bench for the Under-23s in Friday night’s 3-3 draw against Scunthorpe United.

The 21-year-old posted a photograph on Instagram with the caption: “Work in silence and let your success make all the noise.”
