An emergency meeting will take place on Thursday when the Premier League will discuss the issue and how to fulfil the remainder of the season.

The meeting will follow a UEFA board meeting on Tuesday which will address the suspended Champions League and Europa League competitions, as well as the likely postponement of Euro 2020.

According to Sky Sports News reporter Bryan Swanson, the Premier League will take their time to make a decision and talks will run into next week.

All professional football matches in England have been postponed until at least April 3, yet many believe the suspension will last longer.

Euro 2020 was set to start on Friday, June 12, yet a decision to postpone the tournament would allow clubs extra time to complete their domestic seasons.
