Where Newcastle United, West Ham United & Man Utd rank among the 'dirtiest' Premier League teams this season

The 2020/21 Premier League season has already provided some stunning goals, shock score lines and dramatic moments. However, it's also had plenty of brutal fouls, with the bone-crunching tackles coming thick and fast in the campaign so far - keeping the match officials very busy indeed.

We've taken a look at the number of yellow and red cards Premier League sides have had this season, as well as the total number of fouls (via WhoScored data), and awarded half a point for a foul, one for a yellow, three for a yellow/red and five for a straight red to calculate the 'dirty' rating. Here's a look at how Newcastle United and their divisional rivals rank in the table.
