'Wouldn’t even be in my top 10': Newcastle fans react to surprising captain decision

Jonjo Shelvey will captain Newcastle United at Aston Villa.

The Magpies have made one change to the side which beat Bournemouth 2-1 last time out with Paul Dummett replacing the injured Jamal Lascelles at the back.

But while there were few surprises about the team selection, some supporters were unconvinced by the decision to hand Jonjo Shelvey the captain’s armband in Lascelles’ absence.
