Speaking after last night’s 1-0 Carabao Cup win over Blackburn Rovers, head coach Bruce said: “I believe Muto’s travelled to Spain with the view of a loan deal. We hope he can compete that and get some football.”

Defender Florian Lejeune last week joined Alaves, and Bruce is keen to move more players out of the club before the October 5 transfer deadline.
