South Shields announce stunning ticket update ahead of Forest Green Rovers FA Cup clash

South Shields’ FA Cup clash with Forest Green Rovers is heading for a sell-out.

Kevin Phillips’ side host their League One counterparts on Saturday with a spot in the FA Cup Second Round on the line. Shields beat Workington, Shildon and Marske United before knocking out National League side Scunthorpe United in the last round to set up this tie.

The Mariners have revealed that just a limited number of tickets remain on-sale for Saturday’s game with Forest Green, revealing on Tuesday night that less than 600 tickets were left for supporters to purchase. The 1st Cloud Arena is likely to be a sell-out at the weekend and supporters have been advised to purchase their tickets online with in-person ticket sales potentially available on Thursday, depending on availability.
