Agent of Sunderland striker target delivers teasing deal update
The Israeli striker has enjoyed a fine season at St Johnstone and has reportedly attracted interest from a host of League One clubs, including Portsmouth and Ipswich Town.
Melamed recently said he was ‘flattered’ by the interest being shown in him, but has not ruled-out remaining with the Scottish side.

Hide AdBut High Press Sports Management – the firm who represent Melamed – have now offered a teasing glimpse into the plans of the striker, suggesting a decision over his future will be made imminently.
The firm tweeted: “We can confirm that Guy Melamed is out of contract with @StJohnstone after an excellent first season. We hope to find out in the next few weeks what he will be doing next season”
And the agency also represent full-back Scott Tanser, another player who has been linked with a move to Wearside this summer.
They say all options will be considered as the 26-year-old considers his future.

Hide Ad“We are able to confirm that @ScottTanser17 is out of contract @StJohnstone,” the group tweeted.
“We are taking time to assess our options. We aren’t ruling out any anything at the moment.”
Elsewhere, Oxford United manager Karl Robinson has seemingly ruled-out a move for Chris Maguire.
Having been released by Sunderland this week, there was some speculation that the Scot could return to the U’s
But Robinson has seemingly played down talk of a return for the forward.
“I didn’t even know he was available, that’s not one that’s come to me,” he told the Oxford Mail.
