Bundesliga side TSG Hoffenheim swoop for Sunderland defender

Sunderland defender Jacob Young has signed for Bundesliga side TSG Hoffenheim.
The 19-year-old centre back, who played for Sunderland’s Under-23 side, announced the move on his Instagram page.
The central defender is a tall, commanding left-footed defender.
Posting on Instagram, Young wrote: “New club, new country 🇩🇪 Looking forward to this new challenge @tsghoffenheim”.
Young had not made a senior appearance for Sunderland but was named on the bench for a couple of Checkatrade Trophy games.
