Phil Parkinson: This Sunderland player is 'pushing very hard' for a start against Burton Albion

The forward came off the bench in the 1-1 draw with Coventry but could be handed a recall for the 7.45pm KO.

Parkinson said: “He's pushing very hard for a start again on Tuesday.

"He affects back fours and whether it's on the right or the left, full-backs don't like playing against him. If he's down the middle he can he can make those runs in behind to stretch the opposition."
