Sunderland fans have hit out at the ‘shocking’ decision that saw Tom Flanagan’s header disallowed against Bolton Wanderers.

The centre back nodded home from a first half corner and looked to have given the Black Cats the lead, only for Ross Joyce to rule-out the effort.
