Phil Parkinson reveals when Kyle Lafferty could make his Sunderland debut


The former Rangers striker joined the Black Cats last week, but was not registered in time to feature against Wycombe Wanderers.
But the striker could make his debut at stadium:mk having worked hard behind the scenes to build-up his fitness after several weeks without competitive action.
“He’s in the squad for the weekend,” confirmed Parkinson.

Hide Ad“I want him to get in and around the boys and be a part of it. So far, he’s fitted in really well.”
Sunderland have no fresh injury worries ahead of the trip to Milton Keynes, with Tom Flanagan having returned to full training on Thursday after being withdrawn with a shoulder injury after the 4-0 win over the Chairboys on Saturday.
