The Stadium of Light felt like it was rocking to its foundations when Sunderland battled back to claim what was a fully deserved point in their draw with Premier League leaders and title favourites Arsenal.
The Gunners appeared to have put themselves on their way to a 2-1 win on Wearside as they bounced back from conceding a Dan Ballard goal eight minutes before half-time with second-half goals from Bukayo Saka and Leandro Trossard.
However, there was late drama in front of the Sky Sports cameras as Brian Brobbey’s acrobatic finish snatched a share of the spoils for the Black Cats and set off wild celebrations from the vast majority of those inside the Stadium of Light.
But how does Sunderland’s average attendance compare to their rivals across the Premier League after another impressive showing from the Wearside faithful?
