This is why Jamaal Lascelles met Rangers in Dubai
Jamaal Lascelles has met former Newcastle United defender James Tavernier in Dubai.
Lascelles is in the United Arab Emirates working on his fitness as he recovers from a cracked tibia.
And United's captain is using the same facilities as Ranger, in Dubai for warm weather training, according to the Daily Record.
Lascelles, sidelined since early November, was photographed embracing Tavernier, who left Newcastle in 2014.
