As part of the English fours team, Bolt - who also represents South Shields Bowls Club - helped secure the medal success with victory over Wales in the third-place play-off clash.

England’s quartet - Louis Ridout, David Bolt, Jamie Chestney and Sam Tolchard - collected a decisive five on the eighth end to open up a 9-5 lead and in the end that proved the difference as they held on to a 15-9 win.
