The club have confirmed that the Energy Check Sports Ground meeting with be an all-ticket match as they look to break the club attendance record of 1,705 that was set in their quarter-final win against Plymouth Parkway.

Their chances of doing so have been boosted by the news that Newcastle United and Sunderland are without a game on the day of the second leg and local non-league clubs South Shields, Gateshead and Jarrow all face away fixtures.

A club statement read: “After consultation with various authorities, we have agreed that this game will be an ALL-TICKET match for supporters, this is mainly down to safety and the capacity of the ground, therefore by making it an all ticket match we have control over this.

“We've already had lots of enquiries and interest from non-league supporters within the North East but also other areas of the country, therefore we have put a secure process in place for the sale of tickets to ensure everyone who would like to attend can be accommodated.

“We'd love to break our current ground crowd record of 1,705 and we firmly believe we will if the interest materialises into ticket sales and a potential sell out.”

The Hornets went on to confirm that tickets will go on sale at 1pm on Wednesday 11 March and they will be priced at £6 adults, £4 concessions and £1 children under the age of 16.

Tickets can be bought from Hebburn Sports Club or they can be bought online via a BACs payment by emailing [email protected] with ticket requests.

However, the club warned that the online payment service will only be available until Monday 23 March.
