Cancer Connections Boxing Day Dip 2019: What time it starts and how to register

There are a brave group of people amongst us who like to start their Boxing Day with a bracing dip in the North Sea.

Taking part in a Boxing Day Dip is a fantastic way to blow away the cobwebs after your slap-up turkey lunch and a few sherries – and if this sounds like it's up your street, we have everything you need to know about this year’s event in South Shields, in aid of Cancer Connections.

The charity’s Boxing Day Dip takes place each year at Littlehaven Beach and attracts dozens of keen punters from across the town and beyond to take the plunge.
