To apply to become a firefighter, you must be aged 18 or over on April 1, 2021.

Candidates will be asked to fill in an application form, with an accompanying personal statement, and also complete a number of online tests.

They will also have to undertake the ‘bleep test’ to demonstrate fitness levels, and take part in a selection of practical assessments.

TWFRS added: “We need people who are resilient, confident and physically fit, as well as good communicators and team workers.”
