North Shields opticians nominated for prestigious gong at North Tyneside Business Awards

Specsavers North Shields has been shortlisted for the Retail and Service Provider Award and will find out the result at a ceremony at the Village Hotel on 20th November.

The team at the locally-owned and run store, which is located in The Beacon Centre, has been nominated for their exceptional customer service.

Experts in eye and ear health, the store team goes above and beyond for their customers to help deliver the best service and find the right health solutions for them, no matter how big or small.

Led by director team of Eddie O’Gara, Rachel Shields and Mitch Robb, they have been serving the town for more than a decade and are honoured to be on the list for the award.

Retail director, Mitch, says: ‘It’s testament to the hard work of the entire team that we have been nominated for such a prestigious award.

‘We would love to win, as we feel our team go the extra mile for customers, but it’s just great to be in the mix and be able to reward the team with a night out at the ceremony.

‘Hopefully we can bring the award back to the store and show it off to our loyal customers in the run up to Christmas.’
