Newcastle United v Everton team news bombshell emerges just hours before kick off
Everton team news bombshell emerges just hours before their Premier League clash against Newcastle United.
Jack Grealish has been left out of Everton’s squad for tonight’s Premier League clash away to Newcastle United.
The 39-cap England international was also absent for the Carabao Cup meeting between the two sides four days ago. The Toffees confirmed Grealish had been omitted due to a ‘breach of club discipline’.
Manager David Moyes said the decision had been made by the club and that he supported it, but was unable to confirm whether Grealish would be available for the trip to St James’ Park.

Now, in the hours leading up to this evening’s 8pm kick-off, The Athletic has reported that Grealish has been left on Merseyside to work on his fitness.
It is the third consecutive game the 31-year-old has missed, having also sat out the 2-0 defeat at Arsenal through ‘illness’.
But it’s not all bad news for Everton
Everton, are, however, expected to welcome back Jarrad Branthwaite to bolster their defensive options.
Branthwaite collided with Chelsea goalkeeper Emi Martinez during the Toffees’ recent 1-0 defeat and left the field with a concussion, while Martinez was taken to hospital with a broken jaw.
Under FA concussion protocols, players are prevented from playing or training for at least 12 days until being cleared by a medical professional. That meant Branthwaite has been forced to sit out of the last two matches.
"Jarrad should have recovered from his concussion and also the timescale which we had to abide by,” Moyes said in his pre-match press conference.
