Jade joins Rizzle Kicks at North East show
Jade joined Rizzle Kicks at their North East show last week.
The hip-hop duo returned to the stage following their 2024 reunion and headed to Newcastle on Thursday, November 27.
They released their third album, Competition is For Losers earlier this year, with the setlist combining new tracks from the release with old favourites such as When I Was A Youngster and Down With The Trumpets.
The connection to the North East comes from the long term relationship between member Jordan Stevens and South Shields-born Jade Thirlwall, who have been together since 2020.
Stevens has spent plenty of time in the region, previously showing his love for South Shields during media appearances.
A social media post from the duo said: “Had to bring out the Queen of the North @jadethirlwall for Undefeated at NX” alongside a clip of Jade on stage.
This year has been a huge year for Jade. After a stunning performance at the Brit Awards early in the year she went on to release her debut solo album in September before emarking on a huge sold out UK tour in the months afterwards. This included two nights in Newcastle - one at NX and another at O2 City Hall.
This week show was also announced as part of the lineup for the 2026 Reading and Leeds Festivals.
