The latest figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) show how many coronavirus deaths have been recorded in neighbourhoods across South Tyneside.

The data, released by the ONS on Friday, July 24, shows big differences in the impact of Covid-19 in towns and neighbourhoods in the borough.

The figures show the number of deaths related to Covid-19 per postcode between March-June, 2020.

This includes deaths where coronavirus was the underlying cause or was mentioned on the death certificate as a contributory factor and include those and registered up to (and including) July 11.
