We have some great reminders of walking buses all over South Tyneside and they come from the Mail archives.
There are scenes from Hadrian Primary, Oakleigh Gardens, St Oswald’s, and Boldon.
And we even have a reminder of the day one school tried to set a walking bus world record.
Don’t just take our word for it. Step back in time and take a look for yourself.
