13. Kira
Kira is an affectionate older girl who did take a little time to settle when she arrived here, since she’s started to feel more comfortable though, we’re now seeing her true personality. Kira loves a comfy bed and happily snoozes when no-one is around, but as soon as you go into her pen she’s straight over to you for a fuss. She’s even happy to be picked up, and will snuggle into you for a cuddle purring away. | Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter

14. Layla (French Bulldog)
Layla is an absolute delight who has been a pleasure to spend time with during her stay at the shelter. She hasn’t put a paw wrong whilst in care and quickly makes friends with everyone she meets! She is a super affectionate lady and has a real playful and daft side too! She will interact with a variety of toys and enjoys playing fetch and ragging on soft toys. | Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter

15. Mojo (Lurcher)
Mojo is a lovely lady. She has such a sweet and gentle nature but is also lots of fun and has plenty of silliness to fill a home with laughs. She adores being around people and has won the heart of everyone she has met since arriving at the shelter, she’s an absolute delight to be around! | Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter

16. Suki
Suki is a sweet girl who struggled with the shelter environment initially. She spent a lot of her time hiding away and not wanting to interact with staff. However, with some time and patience, she has recently begun to let her guard down and show them more of her true character. She has now found her voice and can be quite a vocal girl when she wants attention. | Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter
