Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter has a number of animals that are looking for their forever home.
The shelter, which was established in 1896, helps animals that are unwanted, neglected, abused and abandoned - as well as reuniting lost animals with their owners and finding loving new homes for those who are no longer wanted.
Here are 15 cute animals who are in need of a home - you can find out more at: https://www.dogandcatshelter.com/.

9. Shadow
Shadow is a sweet lad who was a little overwhelmed when he first arrived at the shelter and initially spent his time hiding away. However, he has always loved his food and quickly learnt when meal times are! He will always be sat at the front of his pen waiting for his food, being very vocal to make sure he doesn’t miss out! Now that he has settled in, he is starting to show staff more and more of his true character. | Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter
