5. Ruddy and Sahara (Old Tyme Bulldog X English Mastiff)
Ruddy and Sahara are a wonderful pair of siblings, they are littermates who have never spent a day apart! Ruddy (right) is the more confident of the pair, Sahara (left) can be a little more worried and gains a lot of confidence from being with Ruddy – she definitely feels more insecure when he isn’t by her side. | Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter

6. Jack (Cockapoo Crossbreed)
Jack is a lovely little lad. He can be nervous in new environments and sometimes when meeting new people, but once he has gained his confidence, he is a real sweet lad! He loves a fuss and will come sit on your knee for attention if given the opportunity! | Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter

7. Stefan (Lurcher)
Stefan is a big, handsome lad who quickly makes friends with everyone he meets! He is a friendly and confident chap, but fairly independent and isn’t really interested in seeking too much attention from his humans. Stefan loves getting out and about exploring on his walks – he has particularly enjoyed bounding through the long grass in the shelter's big field! | Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter

8. Coco and Soxs
Coco and Soxs are a very sweet, but shy pair who have taken a little while to settle in to the shelter. Coco (left) spends a lot of her time hiding away in her cat tree, however, she will jump down if staff sit with her and she will happily come to have a little fuss made of her. Soxs (right) also typically spends most of his time hiding in their cat tree. He has taken a little longer to build his confidence with the team, but he has now begun rolling around on the floor next to them. | Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter
