Accomplished CrossFit athletes set to bring a new gym to South Shields

A new gym is coming to South Tyneside.

Reggie Fasa and Tayla Howe, two of the UK’s most accomplished CrossFit athletes, are set to open Kulture Klub, a state-of-the-art functional fitness space, in South Shields.

Set to open just off Commercial Road in early January 2026, the new gym promises to bring a standard of training that is usually reserved for elite performance facilities.

The high performance gym will be equipped with BLK Box Fitness alongside Concept2 machines - with the space being purposed-built for athletes, aspirational competitors, and everyday members looking to level up their training.

Members of Kulture Klub can expect structed programming, thoughtful coaching guidance and an atmosphere “grounded in hard work and integrity”.

To mark the launch of Kulture Klub, there will be a free open event in early January to invite the local community to come along and explore the space, as well as meeting Reggie and Tayla in person.

Visitors will be able to try the equipment, get a feel for the training environment and find out first hand how the gym plans to bring high-performance coaching into everyday fitness.
