13. Sky (Border Collie)
Sky is quite the typical Collie, she is energetic for an older lady and will play all day if you let her! When first meeting new people she can be quite anxious and will be looking for a home with experience of Collies and someone who has the time and patience to help her settle at her own pace. Staff have a very limited history of Sky, from her first owner when she was a young lady. At the time she was said to not be good with children and had displayed some resource guarding in the home. | Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter

14. Angelica (Cane Corso)
Angelica came into the shelter a very worried young lady and in significant amounts of pain due to a painful condition she had requiring surgery to both eyes. Because of this it took a little time to win her trust for a couple of members of the team and even longer for her to become comfortable around the rest of the team. However once she had her surgery and began to feel better she started to come out of her shell more and show those she trusted more of her sweet, affectionate and playful nature. | Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter

15. Lanya (Old Tyme Bulldog)
Lanya is a real sweetheart and a sensitive soul who can be shy when meeting new people, but is a real love bug once she is comfortable with you! Lanya has lots of energy and loves a game of fetch with a tennis ball, she would do this all day long if you let her! She would love a home with an active family who would enjoy playing with her to help burn off some of her contagious energy! | Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter

16. Cole
Cole is a sweet but sensitive boy who is finding the shelter environment a little overwhelming. He is a shy lad who spends a lot of his time hiding away, but will come out to say hello, although he remains easily spooked. When he is feeling safe, he will come to you for a stroke and has a super loud purr! He also loves lick-e-lix treats and playing with his toys – he will rub his cheeks all over any new ones he gets! | Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter
