Children’s animal handling and interactive sessions are set to be held in South Shields.
Youngsters are invited to learn more about animals through interactive sessions in South Shields town centre.
‘Animal Handling with Science Buddies’ is set to be held at the South Shields Museum & Art Gallery, on Ocean Road, on Thursday, October 29.
There will be two sessions available on the day, with one running from 11am until 12pm and the other from 12.30pm until 1.30pm.
Children will be able to take part in an animal handling and interaction session, where they will meet “amazing creatures”, learn facts and enjoy some hands-on activities.
Tickets for the sessions cost £7.48 per child (£7 plus a 48p booking fee).
Organisers have stated that the event is perfect for children aged four to 16-years-old.
Children must be accompanied by an adult, with a maximum of two children per one adult.
